The SKYACTIV-D 2.2-liter turbodiesel seemed like the perfect engine. Awesome gas mileage already being a diesel, adding skyactiv would only make it better and the turbo would help with the lack of HP that most diesels have. I'm really curious Viknesh, if they don't plan on offering this engine what do they plan on replacing the V-6 with? From the looks of it there won't be an engine offered that gets anywhere near the V-6's 275HP.
