My Sig P85 displays the message: BATTERY WARMING! when the battery is being warmed by the battery power. There is no message when it warms by the grid.

On my Tesla S P85, I have found that if I reduce the amperage on the charge (on the energy touch screen) I awake to a warm car and a warm battery ready to give me full output.

Twice montly, we drive our Tesla S P85 to or resort--a trip of 200 miles each way. Juice use includes radio, fuzz-buster, heating and headlights. Arriving, we always have enough charge left to go to the best restaurant 20 miles away. Plugging in overnight is ready for the trip back the next day.

Elon also has expressed his desire to die of old age on Mars. I, for one, believe he will acomplish that feat also. His dreams are the stuff our future should be made of.

When we bought our Model S, I was very clear that I expected to do my own service, and stated that is why I wanted the factory repair manual. I was assured that the manual would be published and available at the time of my delivery. Without going into dozens of horror storys about post dealer repair failures, including the left rear wheel falling off-- the rear axels bursting into flames--the clutch chatter--the airconditioning cpmpressor damage--the wiring harnes bursting into flames--the drivers door falling off--the car falling off the hoist--the engine failing because a seal was left out(oil pumped out)--gas tank fell off on the freeway. And that is only a tiny expression of disapointment and fear of 50 yrs of mechanic's incompetence.

Model S tires are not rotatable. The rear tires are a different size than the front, and can't be moved front to rear. The wheels are unirotational and cannot be moved side to side. They would have to dismount the tires from the rims to rotate. That's why they say that their servise rangers cannot rotate the tires on the field.

I believe that this Smart is the model that Tesla is providing the power train.

I believe the bewildered look of President Obama was his reaction of disbelief while facing blatant lies by Romney. Unless Lying is a way of life for Romney, why else would he choose Lyan Ryan (ryan's local nickname) for a running mate?

Since I'm one of the callers about the traffic creep mode, I'm very happy that Elon and co. are very sensitive to their customer concerns and requests. That it can be disabled for those who find it annoying is a major plus. Makes us all happy. Thanks Elon
