as an owner or a 2011 WRX I cansay that while fuel economy sucks it's 100% due to me. if I stay out of boost and drive the car much less aggresively I can easily get 25-28 MPG. But I bought a performance car so I can track it on the weekend and still manage my day to day activities and have a good winter vehicle.
