This car is unproven and is too costly for the majority of Americans. I'd rather buy a Volt for a few thousand dollars more. Forgggetttaboutit.

Hybrid cars are not only cost more up front, they bite owners in the ass when it comes to battery replacement. I don't believe the 7 year payback period takes that into account.

I'd like to give a Tesla S a run at the 'ring. Elon? Text me. Okay, I'll sign a release.

For a little more moolah, you can get a Volt, and forget the range anxiety. Like other plug-ins, it's way, way overpriced and will languish on the showroom floor. Price this car at $22k after tax credit and you'll have a winner.

Mo photos, please. And Ford...get that price below $27k and you'll sell a ton of 'em.

Yaa, baby! But how can this be so expensive? The base vehicle is around $23k, and this is double that.

You kept the worst for last: $37k! Plus, if you drive the car for about ten years and need to replace the battery pack you're looking at another $2,500 or so. 82 mile range doesn't cut it for me, either.

If Chrysler keeps adding gears to infinity they'll wind up with a CVT.
