Well, those statistics don't lie. I suspect Mr Broder is going to have some serious difficulties getting down from that particularly high horse.

"Cleam Diesel" is an oxymoron and doesn't exist. A lot like the term "Friendly Fire".

Driving along the highway here in Slovakia I've seen many billboards from Ford, proudly claiming "Najlepsie motor na svet!" (The best motor in the world!) with a new Ford Focus in the picture.
So if the above article is true, then the ecoboost engine is no better in real world testing than any other engine. It turns out my scoffing was well founded.
Once again it seems the best motor in the world in terms of power, emissions, and economy is an electric motor.

That lease option is stunningly affordable. I suspect that even with the lease payment it would still work out cheaper to own operating a typical gas car.
Sigh. Another moment where I wished I lived in USA. Here in Slovakia we haven't even got the first generation Leaf yet!

"...industry analysts often focus too much on sticker price".
That's true, but in my case it's the primary factor in owning an electric car, and sadly the reason I don't have one yet. I will, but not until I can get my hands on one for under €15,000.

It's interesting that Lotus are going to so much trouble to replicate the gas-powered experience.
However if they want to be genuine with their electric drive-trains then I hope they will also replicate the breathtaking unreliability of their internal combustion engined cars. I mean, it wouldn't be a real Lotus if it worked all the time.

The argument aside, what difference does it make what car he drives?
