If no elected official ever does here (they do in Europe), it's because many have been intimidated by the oil lobby for years, for one. And there is very little public pressure since journalists as well, fail to point out the elephant in the room-- time after time.

Hey John, I suppose I might not ever see an article from you on adding a 'fee' to a gallon of gas to reflect the true cost, including wars to protect Middle East oil fields, and the costs of health care for the wounded soldiers in said war, current and future costs of global warming, added health care costs for respiratory related illness because of the burning of oil, etc.
It's 'sweep the rest of the facts under the rug' time.

Agreed. It's pocket rocket time with an EV. No petro burning angst with any of my jack rabbit starts. I gotta slow down...

That REX needs at least a couple of hundred extra miles of range in order for this car to make total sense.

Of course they will, they won't 'Broder' their own cars. Why would any thinking person not 'fill up' while on a long trip?

30 miles electric are the bear minimum, for me. Other than that, the Fusion Energi seems like a real winner.

Johnny you gotta study a bit more. If you're in Cali, take off $10k because of federal and tax savings and the iMiev is $21k. Then add up your gas and extremely low maintenance costs. Not to mention the hidden costs you and I bear of keeping a military flotilla in the middle east to protect the flow of petro. Or did you count that?

Our Coda EV fuel is free. Our electric bill is in the minus column, since we have new solar panels. John Briggs, our fuel is FREE-- no limbs or heads will be blown off protecting its supply(sorry to be so graphic, but it's from the heart). And from our electric company-- we'll get a check.
