Commented On: Could Cruise Control Kill You?

The Car Connection 0 Views 4 comments
Are they using the cruise control correctly , there first point is they stayed in the passing lane longer because they had difficulty modulating speed. IF your using cruise your speed should be the same ,ALL THE TIME. The second point is once they pass they dont leave enough room when they cut back over. Ahhhh isnt that just the opposite of what you just said?

Not sure how they are going to FIX the "problem" you cant move it, there isnt any place else to put it , under the back seat? Grand Cherokee's and Liberty's are not the only ones with tanks at the rear end , remember cars of old , pulling down the license plate to fill?

Commented On: Motorcycle Helmet Law Repeal Could Cost Michigan Taxpayers Money

The Car Connection 0 Views 3 comments
Here are some more numbers , 58% of those killed in 2012 DIDN’T have a motorcycle license. The majority of Michigan motorcyclists killed in 2012, "129 total" were wearing helmets. In 2008 there were 124 motorcycle fatalities in Michigan, with a mandatory helmet law. 38% of those killed DIDN’T have a motorcycle license, AND every one was wearing a helmet. Helmets do not prevent accidents, they haven't reduced fatalities, nor do they do they make for a SAFER motorcycle rider. Helmets MAY reduce some types of injuries OR they may INTENSIFY the severity of injuries. The crash helmet's effectiveness is totally dependent upon the particular circumstances of the accident over which a helmet has no control.

100 MPG PLEASE , it was supposed to be 200 to 300 MPG when it all started. Then they got on the band wagon of electric with 100 miles till recharge. Then again at the beginning it was rear drive , then switched to front. If they could of stayed on ONE concept it would of been a hit. Start small and grow is the wise plane , having a waiting list is better then NO car at all.
