Well maybe they figure that they can sell all they can make here in LA. This must be electric car heaven, with the temperate climate and the urban sprawl providing millions of people with commutes within EV range. Not to mention the almost total lack of public transit, which makes commuting almost totally car dependent.

AND, we have the highest concentration of highly intelligent, good looking, "early adopters" in the world, hahahahahahaha!

Yeah really. Show us what it can do indeed. It's hard to imagine that they would actually produce something this far out of the mainstream in appearance, but the potential for really impressive range would seem to be there.
