I live in the UK and have the current Seat Ibiza FR, the Ibiza is a small hot hatch and is not competing against the likes of the Megane RS or the Focus ST, the main competitor for these two cars would be the Ibiza's bigger brother the Leon Cupra or Cupra R which have 236bhp and 265bhp respectively.

Not sure about the cutting the door off bit, read another story saying that he was able to get out of the car and wait for emergency crews to arrive, even in the picture you can see the door is still there and the far door is open.
