Take your sports cars to the track, and stop being so macho on public roads.

I agree, the 5GT is an eye sore and an aberration for BMW. There is supposed to be a 3GT coming soon, why i don't know. I love the Mercedes CLS, I think it's truly a work of art. I'd be proud to own it too.

Hi Indiiana Bob, I happen to agree that those unconventional marketing approaches were very smart. The Hyundai Assurance was brilliant in that it comforted potential buyers before ever having purchased - particularly in times of recession. You make a good point.

An excellent piece of observation and writing. And it's so true. Facebook is a massive marketing machine that cuts out the journalist, and makes reflection and deeper analysis harder to come by.

It makes sense that BMW would only use it in America. Everything revolves around one-upmanship, and a tagline like this pretty much nails it.
Freude am Fahren as you pointed out does sum it well, and keeps a consistent message. And that is way Better than VW's ill-fated Fahrvergnuegen. Americans have trouble enough with Enlgish let along German words.

I would love to have had the option of HIDs on my Mazda when I bought it, but it isn't even offered up in Canada. Great safety option and should be offered at a reasonable price instead of going to the aftermarket

Just took my '08 5spd Mazda5 on a 400 mile journey to the Canadian Int'l Car Show and everything you critiqued about the 2012 is exactly what I feel about the 2008. Better noise suppresion, interior asnd fuel economy are needed. But I still love my 5. Can't wait for Sky GDI engines. TDI would be nice too.

Good question. Not sure what it is. A friend of mine pointed out the domain name owner is in Italy. Weird. But sickly creative.
