I believe this ad is aiming at people who is considering car at Taurus price range such as Accord, Camry, C class Benz, etc.. the ad deliberately targeted the LS and RL for the WOW/grandiose effect. Meaning Ford want to steal market share from other comparable cars in similar price range not from car that cost $50k and up sedan. People who spend that much for a car has a different set of priorities than someone looking to buy a $30k family sedan.

Ford stealing sale from Lexus, uh...uh... not. Let see how many times in the real world do you see people drive through that much gravel? or drive next to a Top fuel drag racer? How many people cross shop between a Ford and a lexus? Typical domestic car ads.

I wish they kept the two side grills instead of integrating them into the headlamp. It makes the center one looks big like the Audi. Interior is a mess. Please get rid of the L shape dashboard outline. For some reason it doesn't feel like a Saab. It looks like a hybrid of different car exterior design.

I hope Lexus can bring something worthy to compete with the European cars in style/design. If the HS and the Venza design are any indication of the future of Lexus...yawn.
