I have to laugh at you guys that think Mercedes and BMW are so far ahead of this in terms of quality and refinement. My first AMG (C32) didn't exactly break any reliability records. Nor was the fit and finish superb. Same goes with the BMW I had. I'm on my second AMG and so far so good but don't think the Germans are untouchable or are that the cars are designed by magical fairies that sprinkle magic dust over them before they leave the factory. This is coming from an AMG owner!

..why??????

"The ongoing emissions and fuel consumption battle between carmakers and governments worldwide is not as much a primary consideration for the M Division, according to Biermann, because its customers are not concerned with the price of fuel"

-- Good to hear as I would hate to be driving around in a 4cyl M or AMG for that matter.
