Congrats. Take water we don't have, use electricity we can't afford, to make a fuel we don't need. Way to go.

GM "leasing the Equinox cars" to owners. Just ask the EV1 owners how well that went.

Will we ever learn?

As an owner of a 2001 CNG Honda civic in California, I want something larger, yes more comfortable. A dedicated CNG car I can drive comfortably throughout the state. Why would Mercedes choose to import this sardine can when they offer the E200 NGT to India, Italy,Singapore, Switzerland, and other developed nations?
California has an expansive CNG infrastructure to support a dedicated CNG car. The best argument is that a dedicated CNG vehicle can drive in the vast HOV lanes throughout California. Not with the gold sticker, but with a white one. Bi-fuel is not eligible.

I tested the Mercedes B-class in the hydrogen version, it just pretends to be a Mercedes.

PLEASE give the US the E200 NGT. That is a real Mercedes.
