This would be an excellent way for Lincoln to directly compete with Lexus HS hybrid, if Lincoln drops in the Fusion/Milan Hybrid engine.
Keep the luxury and make it green, and Lincoln has something going for it...

I think it's comical how you believe with this one car, Buick is making a complete resurgence. At my age, I don't know what a great Buick is...I wasn't alive for the GNX or the GSX, which I hear were fantastic cars...I'm in the generation that Buick is petrified of...The one that the stigma of Buick as inflicted...As I get older, unless Buick does something over the top, I will NOT buy a Buick (not saying I won't buy a GM, but NOT a Buick)...
Hahahaha...driving a foreign car is out of style and Gas hogs...Which foreign company produces gas hogs???...I really cannot think of one...It's the American brands that produce Gas hogs...

a degree and disposable cash ultimately means people are going to flock to Buick...? How is GM on the move if only a month and a half ago they went bankrupt? I understand this whole GM-renovation is slowing making waves, but they're still offering vehicles that are sub-par compared to foreign brands and still duplicating unnecessary vehicles to clog the streets (Equinox/Terrain) only to remain on the lots of dealerships hoping to be passed over GM's next slaughter...
I do care for the American brands, but none of them are really offering anything special that have caught my attention...

I see a LOT of an Acura RL in the rear of this car...far too much chrome...Buick believes luxury = chrome everywhere...
Otherwise the styling isn't bad...
I really hate to hate on a company that's trying so hard to clear the stigma from their name, and target a younger crowd...I'm 23, and I know Buick isn't shooting for my age, but I know that my parents (59/60) still consider Buick a car for Seniors...and I feel terrible for Buick because at my age, they will always remain a company that builds cars for Seniors...as long as I'm in the financial bracket to be able to really chose what type of car I want to drive, I doubt I'll be visiting a Buick dealer, let alone sit in a Buick if it's not taking me away to or from an airport, or if I'm driving with someone above the age of 75...
The Enclave to me is a waste because you get more stuff for cheaper in an Acadia...You don't even get LED taillights on the Enclave and it's priced well-above the Acadia, which they're standard...
I'm sorry Buick...I know you're popular in China, but you're going to have a tough tough tough time ever getting someone in my age bracket to commit to any of your cars...In the US, Buick should've been shuttered and Pontiac should've survived...

I can understand BMW's idea of saturating the market with a vehicle for everyone's needs, but this vehicle looks odd and I cannot find where it's going to fit in...
If they're looking to suit urban professionals, wouldn't they focus on the X3? The X1 to me looks almost go-kart-ish...and from the price of things, it'll probably skyrocket from $30,000 to upwards of $40-grand with only a few options available. I think BMW should've stuck with the X3 and kept the small SUV suited only it's MINI-brand.
Look at the X6...the thing looks bald on the top from it's lack of roof-racks...and I can tell you, I live in Northern Jersey and it's rare to see people driving an X6...
Hell, it's the first time seeing the X1, so I think it's styling will slowly grow on me...

this looks fantastic! The top reminds me of the Liberty's sky slider...

Chrysler needs to lose these dealerships. Over the past weekend, I visited a few dealerships looking for one of these fabulous deals on a Liberty. I visited dealers which were on the list hoping for consolidation sales but nobody was budging. Plus all the dealers had some "reason" why they weren't closing. Pathetic. Being a devout Jeep owner, I was hoping for some deal but nothing that special. I was quite disappointed, now I am awaiting that $1000 check from Chrysler to stimulate me and push me toward a purchase.

The design is nice, but there's nothing that really stands out about it...I mean it's a gorgeous car none-the-less...But the previous model has something about it that really stands out...this one looks rather plain
When I first saw it, I thought this was the current model out now, until I saw the rear. The front looks almost identical to the current model post-facelift. The rear looks more like a CLK...
It will still sell, and it will still stop people in their tracks, and people will gawk in awe but Mercedes could've done a better job.

Can't we find a suitor for Saturn that is willing to create and keep it an American company, instead of outsourcing for vehicles, probably from China. I understand GM needs to dump whatever it can to gain some expendable income, but find someone that's willing to keep Saturn a decent car company, and hopefully keep it an American company as well...
By the look of things, Chrysler will soon be Italian (which isn't a horrible thing) and GM will be so dwindled down, it will probably drop to the 4 or 5th largest car company instead of being at the top. Only Ford will be left...
