$20 says they will appear as rental cars in popular destination spots around the US - florida, california, etc... and we'll be sick of this car in 15 minutes - just like with that Chrysler 300c.

Would it kill Honda/Acura to bring the "Tourer" to the US?
We already have enough "awkward looking" sedans from this company...

I agree with Hector.
a 1 series is (literally) bottom of the line. You can't get much cheaper (unless you move to a mini pooper)
I'm not impressed. In fact, I think the Audi A3 has a lot better styling (and functionality, quattro) and is a better car overall.

"Its likely target market will be the same buyers that are looking at Audi's Allroad ..."
The US no longer gets the audi allroad.
Fortunately, if you go to europe, you can see the new allroad (based off the a6 avant) and it totally kicks THIS SAAB'S (distorted) BUTT!

Hurry up and die, Chevy. Your brand is permanently marred. It's time to produce something that looks like it was made in 2009, not 1990. And while the volt is nice looking, it's not too far off from the Chrysler "cloud cars" of the late 90's. Dodge stratus, anyone? Bleh.
