maybe making it 200mph puts it in a higher tax bracket or something !
either way...the missus and myself love the C63 and would trade in the current car and get into debt to get one now that the RS4 no longer comes to Australia !

that drivers seat has seen some pretty hefty wear...or some pretty hefty people.
i would say that it has been thrashed to bits so as to make it production ready and show Holden that it hasnt lost the race for a quality sports executive sedan.
The US is pretty silly for not importing this car, it is such a simple set up and would fit perfectly into their mainstream model list !

"the flagship Turbo from US$132,600 (AU$300,000)"
Damnit....that means it will go on sale for between AU$450,000 - AU$500,000 here in Australia....not fair.
bring on the 912 :D

the guy who did the renedering...you have mixed the wrong car style in there...the sill is too low for the rear and front quarters.

I'm very much underwhelmed. MB should have made sure that a car named Gullwing and following the historical 300SL looked better than this. I'd take the SLR over this any day.
the SLR is amazing...saw one up close and personal and had it drive by me...oh dear the sound...WOW.
and it looks the part of old school style of long sloping bonnet and short back...one of my favourite all time cars !
this will define the calafornia brigade, just like Ferrari did with their car, marketing a car for a select group who have the money and are superficial enough to want to be seen in it!

Probably because they are U.S. market cars, not sold in Europe etc. thus not meeting the 5 country/2 continent criteria.
exactly this.
A Daewoo or a Kia would qualify ahead of 95% of the local american market cars

Well at least it looks far better than BMW's X6 and 5GT abortions. In fact it looks pretty good. However, if I want a sub-A6 sedan I'll buy an A4, and the A5/S5 is far too sexy to bear the same name. The S5 is simply one of the best styled coupes out there so I think "A4 Sportback" would be a more appropriate name for this.
that would have been the ideal nameplate...seeing as the odd number is supposed to be a coupe is it not. (A3 doesnt count before anyone says anything as its a hatch and comes in various styles)
Like a 3 door
more a hatch than a notchback, plue they come in 5 door too ! and it is their biggest seller hence they have every style under the Audi banner except sedan which the previous A4 used to be perfect for but has now grown !
