Commented On: GM Chairman wants to see models on sale ahead of schedule

How about a little more style and turbos along with ride control and a luxury interior. Past mistakes are in the past but recent ones like the Sky Solstice can't come off the line before ride characteristics are developed. GM will benefit from a little more styling flair like Opel's design team! Lets not forget clean diesel, it will now work here for outrageous fuel mileage!

GM's lineup without massive incentives seems overpriced in the mid range choices, Impala, Malibu and the 2 models from Buick. They may need to lower sticker prices to get more traffic! Bring in new models that are cost effective. There are too many Denali s and its counterparts, and not enough mid sized fuel efficient but affordable options. That's where a diesel may fill the gap in a package for around $20,000. They have ways to go before their lineup makes sense!

Why not the Passat is a rebadged Audi. Clean diesels are hear to stay, they offer superior mileage to anything but an advance costly hybrid, and they last twice as long. We know where the GM diesel comes from,... Germany! The US is back!

Sexy car. Platform costs issues aside. I drove this girls new one and stalled it. Talk about a touchy clutch and all around weird driving experience. She loved it! Get it fixed and get it back with a Buick version! I read an article about putting Corvette as a stand alone brand complete with sedan, then add one of these to the lineup! Interesting just get it back in the lineup soon with a more user friendly feel! Don't loose the look!

Keep em coming! I wonder what the gas mileage figures will be on the Regal variations. If it can achieve 25 city to 33 highway, then it will be a legit alternative to a hybrid, much like the Chevy Equinox is at 32 highway! That is an incredible achievement for a gas power SUV!

Time will tell if GM has advanced cars in the pipeline and right now VW is leading the way globally. We'll see if Buick captures the late 20" early 30's market in a big way! Just remember you heard it here first!

Foreign gas hogs: BMW, Land Rover, Toyota Trucks, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes, to name a few. Interesting that Chrysler has access to clean diesel technology and other Fiat fuel efficient offerings which those above mentioned luxury gas hogs will soon be utilizing. GM would be well served to hang onto Opel if at all possible to keep a design and engineering arm from Europe!

The double whammy of uncool would be a toyota tundra, not even highly rated lousy mileage and made in japan! The influx of Opel bread small and medium sized cars coming into Buick will give consumers a full line of well designed and well engineered vehicles to choose from. Much of the demand will be fed by reviews such as this one. Right now Buick interiors are top of the line in all their vehicles. Soon the lineup will be full of alternatives and with the fat trimmed at GM (through bankruptcy), they can compete on price with Korean and Japanese rivals! GM is lagging at this moment with gas guzzlers parked on the lots however they have advanced vehicles in the pipeline as a result of their huge engineering network.
