I dearly hope that they do not put this atrocity into production. I would hate to see them deface the prestige of the great British carmaker with such a car.

"Unleash" is the perfect verb for the release of the Cinque Roadster. It never ceases to amaze me how Pagani can continuously make their cars look even more mad, and earn exponential disdain from the frowning supercar giants. Keep it up.

Ferrari should be working on lowering displacements without compromising power outputs. I just hope the production model doesn't come with a camel's hump on the roof, maybe it'll be an option...

Aiman-

In case you hadn't noticed there are a number of well engineered and hugely 'fun' cars currently around, and it is in the spirit of 'fun' that supercars are produced. The lunacy, the sheer craziness is enough to make some people smile. Others, maybe some like yourself look down on them as strictly for the wealthy and priveleged, yet the technology to make the everyday car 'fun' is oftentimes the trickle from such supercars and racecars.
You aptly pointed out two such 'fun' and affordable cars, so why point fingers and accuse supercars of somehow stopping the production of cars like the Mini and the MX-5. You have such alternatives available so why bash supercars? Also, I would agree that the Gumpert is not the prettiest car in the world, but the design is one of the most functional for it's purpose in the world.
They are not a large company, and this is their specialty, however ugly it may be.
Maybe a fun affordable car is just what you need, or a test drive of something as clinically insane as a Gumpert, to lighten your cynical view of the supercar and the industry as a whole.

Dear Aston-Matin,
Please cease and desist your project with regard to the iQ.
Otherwise, we may see the end of Aston-Martin's hayday.
This car bears no lineage whatsoever with the elegant, flowing, proud designs of old. This car is an embarassment to the Aston-Martin name.
For the love of everything good, holy, and as gorgeous as the DB9, please stop.
Thank you.

Personally, I think this is the best possible move regarding the Genesis, and the future of Hyundai's luxury cars. I was pleasantly surprised by the brilliance of the Genesis, but the Hyundai badge made it seem less fantastic, and drew away from it's appeal. Should they choose to market it as another brand, it encourages buyers such as myself to choose it over the competition. I've always been a fan of the Genesis, just not the Hyundai badge...

I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm excited by the sheer fact that a tuner has had the guts to really heavily modify the design of the F430 rather that just dress in fancy aero-clothes. They really made this their own, and for that they deserve a pat on the back. They've really put their own spin on things, now let's see if it works...

Personally, I'm a fan, though when I first laid eyes on the green paint, I was shall we say, thrown off, but for some reason, I really like it... And of course "560 bhp" always helps my opinion...

I don't know if anyone remembers, but a series of concept renderings of a car called the "F460" circulated in Automobile magazine, and it was stunning. All I can do is hope for such a car to enter production. Anyhow, I trust Ferrari to create something of immense beauty. I'll keep my fingers crossed...
