Personally I think the S Class and 7 Series are miles ahead in styling. Audi's are cool but too understated now and sinking, in my eyes, to VW status rather then on par with BMW or Mercedes.

Azlan is right that it needs to seem more expensive

The MB hatchback is a good looking car and would deal a blow to the 1series and mostly the A3 and Golf

Absolute madness. Take it most of the debt is from its hedge funding activities that dived after the economic crisis?

Should have stuck with making cars...

I was gonna say, that looks like the CL. It definitely needs a facelift, I liked the older one better. And for the love of god do something about that horrible interior. Nonetheless I've heard that this is one of the better cars in the MB lineup.

I agree my dad used to have a CL600 and it was so much better looking than the current, especially as weird as it sounds hte back window. It was so fast as well.

As bad as this car seems it works.

There are always going to be the M models, the 330i, the 5series, 6 and 7 that are cars people are really want from BMW. There's the 135i coupe which is the best small coupe on the planet it eats the Scirroco and TT for breakfast (but its a bit too expensive considering the 3 series pricing)

This car will have limited development costs and will probably be made to order bar the ones they force dealerships to buy and it will be based on existing platforms, using existing technology and is just to milk consumers who want this sort of thing.

This doesn't degrade the brand, when you consider the 3series (probably in 318i or 320d form) outsells the Mondeo!

It's moves like this, that means they can steal Rav4 customers and get brand loyalty from the hairdresser who wants a BMW 4X4 can't afford a bigun so she gets this and moves on to an X5 when shes making some more money - or a Z4.

If you want a 500bhp+ engine surely Europeans do it best. M5/6 engine, Audi's RS6 engine, Merc 63 engine. All of them more than capable to do the job.

Is it just me or do all Audi's look just too similar now? They seem, exceptions of the RS Models, just so boring. BMW is nearly boring but Audi just manage to make me not car about any of their cars anymore besides the S3, RS4, S5, RS6, RS6. The rest are so mundane and almost, ironically, passengers to automotive design. Worst than Porsche.
