About Jamie Coleman
Jamie Coleman grew up in the hills of Virginia and developed into a full-blown “square peg” during the '80s, all the while developing a passion/obsession for all things automotive. He served what seemed like a life sentence in college and grad school from the late ‘80s to 2003 preparing for a career in the environmental sciences. Beneath the eclectic mix of Jamie’s personal and professional experience resides a passion for cars and trucks of all types, but there’s a special place in Jamie’s heart for his restored/re-powered 1960 Willys Jeep pickup truck. It was Jamie’s passion for pickups that in 1999 led him to co-invent a sliding load floorbed extender for pickup trucks and SUVs. The invention was showcased in prototype form at the 2000 SEMA show in Las Vegas in show trucks from GMC and the Tier 1 supplier SportRack Automotive. Jamie began his blogging career as the editor for High Gear Media’s Lexus enthusiast blog LexusReports.com and currently blogs at AllPickupTrucks.com. Presently, Jamie lives in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and two daughters.
