About Cheryl Jensen
Cheryl Jensen has some unusual ways to spend a vacation—like driving from Paris to Beijing, mostly off-road, or motoring through dense Central American jungles. Whether reporting on her exotic journeys or offering insightful reviews, Jensen’s work frequently can be found on The Car Connection, as well as in such national publications as Better Homes and Gardens, Car and Driver, AutoWeek, American Woman Motorscene, The New York Times, Ladies' Home Journal, Robb Report, Open Road, Wheels (in Australia), the Chicago Tribune, and The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer and its Newhouse News Service.
Prior to establishing herself as an auto writer, she worked in marketing communications at the Cleveland Clinic, an academic medical center, for more than seven years and was manager of the Clinic's product line communications. Before that, Ms. Jensen wrote a nationally syndicated weekly column dealing with families and aging issues and co-authored the book, The Complete Guide to Health Insurance: How to Beat the High Cost of Being Sick, published in hardcover by Walker and Company and in paperback by Avon.
Along with her husband, Chris — also a well-known auto writer —Jensen lives in Cleveland, Ohio.
