Got Video? YouTube Embedding Now Available on High Gear Media’s Open Content Platform

Our crack development team just made it drop dead simple for any High Gear Media contributor to quickly embed YouTube videos into articles submitted from around the globe. This means our growing cabal of contributing writers can add test drives, track runs, commercials, movie scenes and more to any post submitted for publication on the High Gear Media network.

Below are some screens showing you what the new feature looks like. These are our favorite kind of features — in the office, we call them “push button oh so simple.”

Under the screen shots we’ve also included, just to capture the spirit of the feature, a video embed of the “Days of Thunder” movie trailer. Its really tough to top Robert Duvall shouting at Tom Cruise, high speed cars, and a pounding soundtrack for getting you in the mood for automotive video. Plus, Days of Thunder always makes us smile.
