AllCarsElectric Editor To Join Celebrities Behind the Wheel on English EcoTour Driving Event

Just a quick note to let you know that Nikki Gordon-Bloomfield, our lead editor for  AllCarsElectric.com, will join Formula 1 drivers, television celebrities, and at least one Member of Parliament as she takes the wheel of a green car in the 2010 Bridgestone Eco-Rally.  The Eco-Rally is the largest green-car expo in the UK.

Tomorrow’s event (Wed, July 7, 2010) will see a caravan of hybrid, electric, clean-diesel and other vehicles travel from the seaside resort of Brighton to the capital city of London, ending in famed Hyde Park. The goal is to showcase the very latest in low- and zero-emission vehicle technology and show the cars in action on English roads. Following their arrival, the rally cars will join the UK’s largest exhibit of sustainable transport, free to the public around the baroque Victorian splendor of the Royal Albert Memorial.

Among Nikki’s co-pilots will be Formula 1 drivers Ross Brawn, Patrick Head, and Nico Hulkenberg, as well as electric-car commentator Bobby Llewellen. She’ll be providing live commentary on the “Transport Evolved” website, at: www.transportevolved.com/live
